After three consecutive sold-out “one-man” shows at the Rhapsody Theater, John Vincent Mahady returns with a brand-new show, “In Concert”.

Celebrating his 50th year pursuing a life’s passion for music, Mahady revisits some of his favorite songs over his storied career. His personal songbook is greatly influenced by such celebrated Crooners as Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett and Mel Torme. Additionally, he is a huge fan of iconic Broadway Show Tunes.

A Northwestern University graduate and a featured 4-year performer in the renowned Waa-Mu Show, Mahady has built a reputation for crafting deeply personal, musically rich solo performances. His shows blend carefully curated songs with humor and storytelling, creating an intimate and memorable experience. Guided by the philosophy that “if you sing from the heart, it goes to the heart,” Mahady delivers performances filled with warmth, sincerity, and joy.

He is joined by acclaimed musical director and beloved friend, Beckie Menzie, a celebrated legend in Chicago’s cabaret scene.
